Surgical techs have a lot of responsibilities all of which are extremely important.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities of surgical techs include preparation of patients before surgery including transport. Surgical techs are responsible for monitoring the vital signs of patients during and after surgery as well as cleaning the operating room, sterilizing tools, handing tools to surgeons and making sure that surgeons and nurses have all of the necessary equipment and tools. They will also be called upon to cut sutures.
