Brown Mackie College’s two-year Associate Degree program is offered at many of its 25 locations. The program in Surgical Technology is designed to provide students with the required knowledge base and technical skills required to obtain entry-level employment in the field of surgical technology. To achieve this goal, the program curriculum provides study in general and specialty surgical procedures, principles of anesthesia, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and surgical technology techniques. Students leave well-versed in the knowledge necessary to become successful and respected surgical technologists.
The Healthcare & Wellness programs at Brown Mackie College are designed to provide students with the skills necessary to work in some of the fastest-growing fields in the medical, healthcare, fitness, and wellness industries. At the Brown Mackie College system of schools, students don’t need to wait for a traditional “Fall Start.” Because some students aren’t always living “traditional” lives, Brown Mackie College offers new starts each month with day or evening classes that fit any schedule. Each class lasts one month. There’s no need to divide your time and energy between coursework and exams for multiple courses. Instructors keep the focus on one course, one subject at a time to help students succeed.
