According to the Department of Labor, the need for medically well-trained personal is preferred for healthcare facilities, where they are interested in hiring certified surgical technicians.
Surgical Technologists also known as “scrubs” or “operating room technicians”, work under the supervision of surgical personnel, registered nurses and surgeons. To become a qualified Surgical Tech you will be taught courses in medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, microbiology, patient care during surgery, along with more skilled training courses.
