Intensive, focused training enable students the option of obtaining an associate degree in two years or less.
An associate’s degree is a good credential to have in this field. Other surgical technicians obtain a lesser degree, a certificate. Some employers will accept this credential. Many will provide additional training to get the scrub up to speed.
